Maturity- Mid-season. The plants are determinate, and medium large in size. The fruit has a square elongated shape, has a green shoulder, averages 110 grams in size, and is solid and very firm. Disease Tolerance: Verticillium wilt, Fusarium wilt race 1 and 2, Alternaria stem canker, Root knot nematodes and Stemphylium. Rio Fuerte is suitable for most markets and has a high number of disease tolerances.
